Applied Sportsmedicine
Aims and scope
This lecture series addresses the in-depth, systematic understanding of applied sports medicine aspects of health and performance. It is focussed on application of selected basics of aerobic performance and cardiorespiratory fitness in healthy healthy individuals, competitive athletes, and patients for exercise prescriptions.

Grading
Prerequisite for admission to the module examination:
- To achieve the learning objectives of this module, regular attendance at the module’s seminars and exercises is required.
- Regular attendance is defined as missing no more than 15 percent of the class time in any given session.
Module examination (VSM II) in the form of three parts:
- Exercise Immunology (written exam, 30 min, pass/fail)
- Exercise Immunology (presentation/proposal, 50%)
- Applied Sports Medicine (Exposé, 50%)
- Each module part must be passed
